Our requirements are pretty simple. We actually pay you if you can bring some heads!

We are not a pay-per play venue
but we do need to cover expenses for our staff.
Each band/performer will be sent ten (10) pre-sale tickets and is requested
to bring a minimum of ten (10) guests or a donation that equals that amount.
Invite as many as you like to support your peformance!
The more that come, the more you will get paid!
On the night of your performance, you will be paid half door charge for your first ten after
eighteen guests and full door charge after that.
Door charges range from $8.00 to $10.00 depending on performers for that night.

We book all styles of music; alternative, pop-punk, acoustic, emo, indie, pop, spoken word, hiphop,
jazz, and blues, with the exception of metal and hardcore.

Shows start from 6:00 pm or 7:00 pm and end by midnight.
Three to six bands are booked per night for 30 to 45 minute sets with fifteen minute breakdowns.
Bands are to load in one hour before the show.

Guitar Merchant provides a custom PA system including four monitors, two flown speakers,
two subs, 32 channel mixing board and friendly engineer for exceptional sound (and lighting!).
The stage is 12'x17'.

Guitar Merchant is equipped with a backroom to fit the equipment of five bands at a time,
with a load in-load out accessibility behind the stage. How easy is that?

All bands are responsible to make and distribute their own flyers.
Guitar Merchant promotes events via our website, our venue, MySpace, Facebook and Craigslist.

Guitar Merchant is not responsible for lost or stolen equipment.
Guitar Merchant is a no moshing, no attitude venue. Please leave it at the door.

Our venue is available for private parties. We provide the stage, lights and sound.
Just bring the music and fun.
Friday/Saturday, $475. Sunday through Thursday, $375.
Includes sound tech and door host.
